Silva Free is the world’s first truly modular head torch series, offering three lamp units, four battery options, and multiple mounting solutions. Designed to achieve more with less, it eliminates clutter (the power cable is integrated into the headband) and maximises light output through optimised cooling. Move the lamp unit seamlessly from the headband to your helmet or handlebar for flexible use across all activities.

FREE 3000 – for skiing, ski mountaineering and downhill biking

With 3,000 lumens, the FREE 3000 is the most powerful in the Free series, ideal for high-speed adventures in challenging terrain. Choose from three battery configurations:

FREE 3000 S features a lightweight 24.1 Wh battery, perfect for shorter sessions or night orienteering.

FREE 3000 M equipped with a compact 36 Wh long-distance battery, ideal for ski mountaineering or high-speed skiing. Place the battery in a warm pocket for optimal performance.

FREE 3000 L boasts a robust 72 Wh battery, perfect for downhill biking, mountain biking, or extended sessions. Attach the torch to your helmet or bike with separately sold mount kits.

The FREE 1200 is the most compact in the series, ideal for cross-country skiing, trail running, roller skiing or long training sessions. Options include:

FREE 1200 XS ultra-light 14.4 Wh battery for weight-conscious runners. Wear the battery on the headband or place it in your running vest, using the included extension cable.

FREE 1200 S 24.1 Wh battery balancing brightness and burn time. Choose this headlamps for running, cross-country skiing or roller skiing

FREE 1200 M 36 Wh battery for extended sessions such as running, cross-country skiing or roller skiing. Use the included extension cable and stow in a vest or warm pocket to maximise runtime.
