Developed together with 2000 orienteers
he Arc Jet and Spike Jet compass series has been developed together with 2,000 Swedish orienteers, the Swedish Orienteering Association and world star Tove Alexandersson, multiple World Orienteering Champion. Through interviews, development and testing, we have created orienteering compasses featuring the innovative Jet 2.0 needle.
“I want a compass that is fast, fast and stable but also fits well in the hand. The compass should help me focus only on the information I need to get to the control as quickly as possible,” says Tove Alexandersson.
The updated Jet 2.0 needle was developed in close collaboration with Tove and offers a well-balanced combination of speed and stability. The materials and weight of the needle have been carefully tested to deliver high performance on the course.
The development also builds on insights from an extensive survey conducted by the Swedish Orienteering Association. The result is compasses featuring an ergonomic wing (arc) and a removable thumb grip, designed to suit different hands and preferences.
